The effects of hydrogen peroxide and mitochondria on human breast cancer cells

Purpose: It was aimed to evaluate the effect of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), mitochondria isolated from human breast cancer cells (MCF-7) and mesenchymal stem (IMSCs) on MCF-7 cell proliferation in this study.
 Materials Methods: Mitochondria IMSCs were according protocols specified kit protein amount measured by bicinchoninic acid method (BCA). H2O2 doses (0-1000 µM), obtained transferred viability evaluated tetrazolium salt (MTT) method. The percentages calculated measuring absorbance samples at 570 nm with a plate reader.
 Results: found that, ATP level higher than MCF-7s. decreased significantly 30 µM (%19), 40 (%26), 50 (%39), 75 100 (%36), 200 (%28), 400 (%23), 800 (%22) 1000 (%23) doses. transfer caused tendency decrease proliferation, but no significance detected. But, it that healthy 10 reduced MCF-7s (respectively %14 % 8).
 Conclusion: determined is associated proliferative processes, however transplantation into thought be promising new treatment disease.
